Text Box: that she would be tutored in singing it when she arrived.  It worked!  The Lord has enabled her to learn a song quickly in the local language.  Praise God!  
The effect on the people was so heartwarming!  They loved to sing it over and over (making it easy for Nancy to memorize the words).  Singing together in the local language causes a deep connection of hearts and a greater flow of all the ministry.
Text Box: In February, Nancy went to Sri Lanka for the third time, with Syd and Liz Doyle, and Tonya Reed.
The team was invited by evangelist, Rodney Pereira, of Sri Lanka, who organized a great conference called “Arise  and Shine.”  1,000 attended from all over the country.
Before she went this time, Nancy requested that the song “Release Me Oh Lord” be translated into Sinhala, and Text Box: Nicaragua
Text Box: Nancy is grateful to the Latin American people for their heart for the lost.  She has found , especially among Mexican believers, a real burden to reach Muslims and Hindus.  This is what prompted her first visit to Asia in 1999, and opened the door of  her heart to that part of the world.
God has surprising ways of leading us outside our comfort zone into the great adventure of His will!

Ruth Martinez and Liz Doyle combined efforts to put together the Impact Week team.
Text Box: One thing we enjoy doing on these trips is bringing gifts for children, pastors and their wives, and for the Christian school, which is run by our hostess, Angie Benitez.
William also got into the spirit of giving, and brought some of his own toys.  He gave them to the children at a school at the YWAM base where we stayed.
Nancy was happy to have an opportunity to use her Spanish and see if she has grown in her knowledge of the language.  The team was happy to send her out without an interpreter, since they were in short supply.  So - it was sink or swim!  Nancy was pleased to find that she could carry on a service in Spanish.  Her verb tenses are still rough, but the people are able to understand and receive the message.
